My 5 Fave Songs

Jason Mraz - Love For A Child
On a C Major song, when someone plays an Em and a Gm, it's like a HUGE orgasmic bomb for me and in this song, it's the first two lines of every verse. God, I love this song. I still listen to it on repeat. It's such a nice song and it's all about the innocence that we all go through like how when life was so much easier and lighter when we were younger and how things tense up when we grow older and we get dramatically unhappy for avoidable drama. Now, don't ask me why I like Jason Mraz after you listen and start drooling over this song.

Chet Baker - I Fall In Love Too Easily
It's been a while since I've heard jazzy songs. This is a song for me meaningwise too. I do fall in love too easily for a love to last like Chet Baker said. As wikied, Chet was born in the 20's and died in 1989. Such good music and good lyrics back in those days. I just think this song is good to coze up in your doona at this type of weather and have a reminisce of your love life or just with your current partner and feel good and warm about the times when you're together with him/her.

A*Teens - Halfway Round The World
This song was ages ago. A*Teens' second album was all original songs as opposed to their first one which was all Abba covers, which weren't that bad anyways. I mean, for a group consisting of members at their teenage years, they did a pretty good job. This song is way too catchy to be forgotten and I'm gonna use this for my next choreography. It kinda reminds me of Mya and The Tamperer's Feel It as well.

Fenix Tx - Tearjerker
It's been a while since I've listened to songs like this. High school post punk slash rock type of songs. I love it when hardcore punk groups spend some time thinking of catchy love songs as this one. It's kinda cute in my opinion. And the singer seems to have the same mentality as I would. When you're sure you've found the one you're looking for, you'd wait and treasure his/her presence more than anything else in the world. Amen to Fenix TX.

Aqua - Cuba Libre
I hate to admit it but this song by Aqua from their second album's pretty spiffy despite my 'growing too old to appreciate Aqua music'. This song's very spanish with the guitar and the whole Latin feel. Is it cos I'm doing La Mancha but I feel so happy whenever I listen to this song. If you're thinking of their 'easy to get sick of' songs like Barbie Girl and Dr Jones, please do not think this song is the same thing. This song is totally mature for a normal Aqua fan.
