So, it's my sister's turn today to leave for Bangkok. As usual, waking up at 7am, I had a bit of thoughts in my head. Did she make it? Did she wake up early? Is she ok? I haven't heard anything from her so this means she must be ok.
Alcohol is one's best friend, especially when you're at the age where you don't want your birthday to have party hats and cakes. Steve and I finally came up with a plan for our 'fused' birthday party at his place on August 5th. Alcohol and snacks all the way. Invited only a few people. Funny thing is he knows as much celebrity friends as I do and most of them are mutual. So, it's gonna be a bit star studded. Not really a big party though, just those who are real friends of ours from the showbiz world. I've counted six, including me.
Today marks the day where I could start doing 'normal' activities. I went to the hospital to do some gauze patching and hydrogen peroxide poking for my wound. The doctor said it's been filling up well. New flesh, that is. So, now I can do gym again and even shower. So, I showered today. And oh my god, the feeling was sensational. When I was in Burma in 2004, one of my friends, Dawn, told me that she would date me only if I take showers. I wasn't offended but with the combination of Burmese weather and my skin condition back then, I would've said the same thing to myself if I were to date me. After five years of being on my own and an active 'anal sex'er (LOL), I've learnt to love showers or cleaning, in general, more than before. So, showering instead of spongeing today was just awesome. Yes, it's essential to make a big deal outta it. Yet another blogworthy moment here.
